Johnnie Candle has been making a living in the fishing industry since he was 17 years old. He worked his way through college as a first mate on several charter boats fishing Lake Erie, received his USCG Masters License, and captained boats. Upon receiving his BS degree in marketing, Candle jumped into the world of professional walleye tournaments and guiding, which he claimed the title of World Walleye Champion (MWC) in 2010. Johnnie has left behind his tournament days and now guides full time splitting the year between Devils Lake in North Dakota and the Gulf of Mexico in Carrabelle, FL.
