Carrabelle Florida Fishing Report: 2-3-25
We had a cold weather stretch that slowed the fishing down slightly, but overall the bite has been fantastic and is getting better. Some of our best bites have come in the rivers and other areas with warmer water.
The sea trout bite has been fantastic up in the rivers near Carrabelle, Florida. We are commonly catching fifty and sixty fish a day with a few one-hundred fish days mixed in. The best bait has been a jig and a plastic. It’s really similar to walleye fishing back home.
Carrabelle Florida Fishing Report: Near Shore and Off Shore
The fishing near and offshore is also great. It’s truly a mixed bag out there. We’ve ran into sea bass, grunts, various species of groupers, snappers , and a ton of other different fish species. Bottom fishing rigs with live or cut bait has been the best way to fish on the near shore structure. We are catching tons of fish on wrecks and reefs between thirty and seventy feet of water.
