Carrabelle Florida Fishing Buzz Bite Report 12-15-2022
The inshore fishing has been fantastic in the Gulf of Mexico. The sea trout are getting tougher to find because of the cooling water, but they can still be caught in very shallow water and in areas that have a dark bottom.
Redfish can be caught in shore along docks and on other inshore structure like rocks, wrecks, and reefs.
The best baits have been a live shrimp on a plain hook, or a jig paired with a Berkley Gulp shrimp.
If you target structure in slightly deeper water near shore you will catch plenty of snapper, groupers, and amber jacks.
Those fish can be caught jigging or on live shrimp and cut bait.
The fishing is only going to get better for big bull redfish over the next few weeks. Make sure to plan a trip and enjoy some of the great fishing the Gulf has to offer.
