The Carrabelle Florida fishing has continued to be awesome this past month. Anglers can expect to catch lots of sea trout and eater sized redfish. Some of our best bites have come in the rivers and other areas with warmer water. It’s a sure bet you’ll find eater sized redfish and sea trout anywhere you can find warm water. One of the best ways to catch sea trout is with a 1/8 ounce up to 1/2 ounce jig paired with a Big Bite Baits Scentsation Slim Minnow..
The near shore fishing has been fantastic. It’s truly a mixed bag out there. We’ve ran into sea bass, grunts, various species of groupers, snappers , and a ton of other different fish species. Bottom fishing rigs with live or cut bait has been the best way to fish the near shore structure.
The bull redfish are beginning to show up. Look for them on structure like shallow sand flats, oyster bars, and reefs.
