Captain Chad Dilts Captain Chad Dilts is a full-time Professional Fishing Guide with Sport Fish Michigan. A Michigan native, he’s dedicated his life to learning about all fisheries in Michigan. His expansive knowledge and experience range from cold water species like salmon, steelhead and lake trout to smallmouth, walleye, northern pike and panfish. Chad also guides on Lake Michigan tributaries in the spring and fall during the migratory salmon and steelhead run. Additionally, he doesn’t miss a beat in the winter months, serving as a full-time ice fishing guide.
