Saskatchewan Fishing Buzz Bite Report 11-29-22

We’ve got solid ice across most of Saskatchewan and the early ice bite has been awesome. Tobin Lake just recently froze and most of the smaller lakes in the area have locked up as well.

Right now there is a great walleye bite on Last Mountain Lake. It froze over this past week and some of the protect bays have as much as six inches of ice.

Good numbers of big walleyes are being caught as well as a lot of eaters mixed in. The nice thing about the early ice bite is that the fish are biting all day long.

Spoons seem to be the best presentation, but Rapala Jigging Raps will also produce lots of bites. Blue white, greens and perch have been our go to colors.

Anglers should also expect to run into a few northern pike, tullibees, and jumbo perch mixed in as well. This bite will continue to be good for the next couple weeks.

As always use extreme caution when venturing out onto the ice.

Right now is a great time to plan a trip to enjoy some of the incredible Saskatchewan fishing!
