Duluth Superior Fishing Buzz Bite Report 10-6-2022

The fall bite is happening right now in the Duluth Superior area.

Right now the Lake Superior tributaries have good runs of salmon and trout pushing into the rivers. These fish can be caught on spinners, spawn sacs, or on crawlers.

Some anglers are also having good success trolling spoons and stickbaits outside of the river mouths on Lake Superior.

On the St. Louis River anglers can expect to catch good numbers of walleyes in all sections of the river. You can catch them by pulling crankbaits, or on jigs paired with a plastics or minnow.

Work along the channel edges and don’t be surprised if you pick up a smallmouth bass or northern in the same area.

On the inland lakes, panfish can be caught in the basins on small jigs paired with crappie minnows or plastics.

Good luck to all the anglers fishing the Duluth and Superior area!
