Metro Area Buzz Bite Report 10-10-2022

The fishing in the Metro Area has really good over the past week. We’ve been catching plenty of smallmouth bass on the river and on most of our Metro Lakes the fish are in their fall patterns.

Water temps are dipping down into the fifties.

We’ve been finding a lot of bass, walleye, and northern pike up shallow in areas were docks used to be in the water.

Moving baits like spinnerbaits, lipless crankbaits, and chatter baits are all producing fish.

Anglers can expect to catch numbers of crappies in the basins anywhere from fifteen to thirty feet of water depending on the lake. Small Clam Tikka Minos are working great, but you can also catch fish on jigs paired with plastics or crappie minnows.

Good luck fishing in the Metro Area lakes!
