Incredible Ice Fishing in Manitoba’s Northern Region

Manitoba’s northern region offers some of the best multi species ice fishing opportunities in the province. You can find monster walleye, huge lake trout, big northern pike, and more, including stocked trout.

Mantioba’s northern region is home to several lakes that offer trophy caliber stocked trout.

Trout are coldwater species of fish that are a very visual and aggressive feeder. They are very active throughout the winter and are a great species to target through the ice.

Small spoons, jigs paired with plastics, or salted minnows under a set line are all good presentations you can use to put some trout topside.

If big brookies, brown trout, rainbow trout, and tiger trout interest you; plan a trip to Manitoba today.
