Southern Saskatchewan Buzz Bite Report 12-11-21

We finally started to see some colder temperatures and anglers are beginning to venture out and catch some fish.

As far as ice conditions go, a lot of our smaller lakes here in Southern Saskatchewan have safe ice. You can also find safe ice around the edges of most lakes as well.

Anglers are starting to venture out and are finding some good walleye bites. Spoons tipped with minnows will get the job done.

You can also expect to catch some nice sized pike in the shallow weed beds on set lines.

With our current ten day forecast those bigger lakes should be locked up and fishable in no time!

For those anglers headed out now, use caution and travel with the proper safety equipment.
