Last Mountain Lake, Saskatchewan Buzz Bite Report 12-15-2021
We are out here on Last Mountain Lake in Saskatchewan and we have found a solid three inches of ice on one of the protected bays.
We are gaining more ice by the day which is good, but it will still be awhile before we are driving side by sides and snowmobiles out on the main lake.
Anglers are starting to venture out onto Last Mountain Lake and are finding some good walleye fishing. Spoons tipped with minnows will get the job done.
For those anglers headed out onto the ice, use caution and travel with the proper safety equipment like a spud bar, ice picks and a throwable. Remember that no ice is 100% safe.
You can also expect to catch some nice sized pike in the shallow weed beds on set lines.
Good luck out there fishing!
