Northern Wisconsin Buzz Bite Report 7-20-2022
Our summer patterns are in full swing up here in Northern Wisconsin. Walleyes have pushed out onto those deep rock riles and main lake humps and we are finding them anywhere from twenty to twenty-five feet of water.
Slip bobbers with leeches and Rapala Jigging Raps seem to be the best two presentations.
The smallmouth bass have been hitting topwater baits along the rocky shorelines during the day. Ned rigs and Neko rigs are also producing fish.
The crappies can be found on the deep weed edges in eight to ten feet of water. Small jigs paired with plastics will catch you a mess of fish.
The south shore of Lake Superior is producing a lot of nice walleyes right now. Look for the warmest water you can find. Bright colored stick baits have been working the best.
Good luck to all the anglers out fishing in Northern Wisconsin and on Lake Superior.
