Brainerd Lakes Area Buzz Bite Report 7-20-2022

The Brainerd Lakes Area has been seeing lake temperatures reaching over 75 degrees and overall the fishing has been pretty solid.

Walleyes are in there summer patterns and can be found on sandy flats, steep weed line breaks, and on main lake humps. We have been catching most of our fishing using a slip bobber with a leech or on a jig and minnow. Rigging crawlers will also produce some fish.

Focus on depths between 21 to 30 feet of water during mid day periods and then 16 to 24 feet of water durning prime time periods.

After dark a few larger fish can be caught trolling stickbaits in five to twelve feet of water.

Panfish can be found roaming he shallow weeds, on docks, and along the weed line in six to ten feet of water. Small plastic have been working great.

Largemouth bass can be found in six to fifteen feet of water on the weed lines or weed flats. Jig worms, ned rigs, and other plastics will work.

Good luck to everyone fishing the Brainerd Lakes Area this week and over the weekend!
