North Dakota fishing guide Jason Mitchell gives his latest Buzz Bite Report for Devils Lake on November 4th, 2021.

Devils Lake, North Dakota Report

For the most part we have had a real mild fall over here on Devils Lake in North Dakota. Overall, the walleye fishing has been pretty good for the last month.

About we week ago the water temperatures were in the low fifties, but we had some cold weather and high winds and now they have dropped about ten degrees in a week and are in the low forties.

We have been pulling a lot of crankbaits over the flooded road beds and along the old shorelines for walleyes.  Those have been the two key spots that have really had a concentration of fish.

We have been pulling number five and number seven Rumble Shads and Flicker shads at about a mile and a half.

Most of the walleyes have been pretty spread out, but if you do see some nice fish schooled up you can pitch a jig and minnow to them and should have some good success.

You really have to utilizes your electronics to located the fish, but if you stick it out throughout the day you will be able to put a nice amount of fish in the boat.

Good luck out there on Devils Lake in North Dakota. Enjoy the last bit of the open water season and go out and catch some of the nice walleyes Devils Lake has to offer. If you are looking to get out you can reach me through my website: https://jasonmitchelloutdoors.com.
