On a recent drive-to fishing trip to Q Lake Lodge in the Eastern Region of Manitoba, we hit a smoking hot bite for walleyes and smallmouth bass.

Targeting textbook mid-summer walleye structure proved to be all we needed to get into schools of chunky fish with a few big ones thrown in. Casting lures to rocky shorelines resulted in toe-to-toe battles with tons of three to four pound plus bass.
