Wolf River (Fremont, Wisconsin) Buzz Bite Report 4-13-22

We are up on the Wolf river chasing walleyes and water temperatures have climbed into the low forties. A good number of fish have spawned or are currently spawning.

Overall, the bite has been really strong. Early in the morning we have been doing well on the inside bends of the river that have shallow sand flats.

We have found a lot of success pitching Northland hair jigs and then slowly working them back to the boat.

During the day we have moved out deeper onto some of those longer flats in the main river current and have been vertically jigging shiner and fathead minnows.

As the water temperatures continue to rise the fishing is only going to get better!

If you wanting to chase walleyes, white bass, or get into some multi species fun book a trip today through my website or feel free to give me a call!

Good luck to all the anglers out fishing!
