Spring Fish in the Shallows

Aqua-Vu owner Kolt Ringer delves into the up close and personal world of Minnesota’s famous Lake Minnetonka in the shallows.

Spring Fish in the Shallows

It’s a thriving mecca of life, as waters warm, in this metropolitan setting. Lake Minnetonka has great numbers of fish including largemouth and smallmouth bass, northern pike, musky, walleye, all the panfish species and more!

Using an Aqua-Vu HD camera attached to a painter’s pole, he seeks hidden secrets of the shallows. Clues for future fishing excursions and just plain fun.

You can really learn a lot about fish by just watching them and studying their behavior.

For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Bill Lindner. Son of Ron, and Al is my uncle. I know how to fish. But for me, it can be more satisfying to capture these fish on camera than actually hooking one. I just love the interaction, capturing it on film, and delivering it to all of you. I do.

It’s a hunting game that requires tact, patience, and physical aptitude. It’s challenging to sneak that pole cam into nooks and crannies of the secret underwater world. Wanting to understand fish and their world in the game and it’s amazingly, wonderfully fun!
