Northern Minnesota Fishing Buzz Bite Report 11-1-2022
The water temperatures are really cooling down on Leech, Cass, Winnie, and other lakes in the area. Depending on the depth and size of the lake the water temps have been between the low to mid forties.
Panfish are really easy to find and catch right now. Look for big schools of crappies along the edge of mud basins.
Small tungsten jigs paired with plastics or crappie minnows will work great.
The walleyes are still biting, but the day bite has slowed down a bit. Most fish are now coming early in the morning or late in the evening.
They can be caught on Lindy Rigs or jigs paired with minnows in ten to twenty five feet of water depending on the lake.
There is also a great night trolling bite happening right now. Look for those fish along the flats in twelve feet of water or less. Northland Rumble Shiner and Rumble Shads have been working well.
