Eastern North Dakota Fishing Buzz Bite Report 12-8-22

Some of our smaller lakes around Valley City, ND have eight to ten inches of ice. The larger lakes have anywhere from five to six inches of ice but some areas may have less. Please use extreme caution when venturing out.

We’ve got a great bite happening over here in Eastern North Dakota. The perch bite has been excellent and walleyes are being caught during low light periods.

Most of our fish are coming in ten to sixteen feet of water.

For the perch use small 1/16 ounce spoons tipped with minnow heads or wax worms. Walleyes can be caught on 1/8 ounce spoons tipped with minnow heads.

Rattle baits and Jigging Raps are also producing a few fish.

This early ice bite should continue to be good for the next few weeks.

If you guys are looking to plan a trip for this  winter you can give me a call or can book a trip through my website.

Stay safe and good luck to all the anglers out ice fishing!
