Devils Lake Buzz Bite Report 7-24-22

The fishing is red hot on Devils Lake right now. Water temperatures are approaching the mid to high seventies and there are several bites happening right now.

Anglers can expect to catch walleyes along the weed edge in 8 to 10 feet of water. Bottom bouncers, Lindy Rigs, crankbaits and slip bobbers are all producing fish. Don’t be surprised if you pick up a northern pike or two as well.

You can also catch good numbers of walleyes out on the main lake rocky structures in twelve to fifteen feet deep with slip bobbers.  Look for any wind blown reefs.

Along the old shoreline in about 22 to 30 feet of water, walleyes can be caught trolling crankbaits with lead core. This has been producing some of the nicer fish. You can also catch them vertically jigging with jigs & minnows and Jigging Raps.

The bite should continue to stay like this for awhile so get up here to Devils Lake and enjoy this awesome bite!
