Central North Dakota Buzz Bite Report 12-23-2020.

Well we have finally got some solid ice out here in central North Dakota. We are fishing on a smaller lake and have found about four to five inches of ice.

In areas that do have good ice the walleye bite and perch bite are going very strong. Perch have been aggressive and are feeding throughout the day.

Walleye have also been aggressive and the best feeding windows has been during your primetime periods early morning and late in the afternoon into the evening. A decent amount of walleyes are being caught throughout the day as well.

Spoons tipped with a minnow head or vertically jigging baits like the Clam Tikka minnow has been producing walleyes.

Small jigs and small spoons tipped with a minnow head or wax worms has been working well for the jumbo perch.

You have to be careful when venturing out as the ice conditions really vary throughout the area and across the state.

If you are looking to get out and get on some nice fish you can get ahold of me through my website or with my cell.
