Leech Lake Fishing Buzz Bite Report 7-24-2022
Walleye bite has stay consistent over the past few weeks. Slip bobbers and a leech continue to be the best method out in Walker Bay and on the main lake. Look for fish along the sand flats in ten to fourteen feet of water or along the main lake reefs in fourteen to twenty feet of water.
In the next week or so the crankbait trolling bite should pick up for walleyes so keep that in mind.
The smallmouth bass bite has really started to pick up and will continue to get better over the next few weeks. Look for rock points and humps in 4 to 10 feet of water.
Early in the morning and late in the evening topwater baits will produce good numbers of fish. During the day, Ned rigs, tubes, and drop shots seem t0 be working the best.
Good luck to all the anglers out on Leech lake. Have fun, catch some fish and be safe!
