About Grant Prokop

Grant has been working in the sporting goods industry from the time he was able to stand on a box and scoop bait. There is little doubt as to where the passion for the business comes from. The decision to open Thousand Lakes was easy. Growing up fishing and hunting across the US and working for several sporting goods stores, Grant was able to develop his own philosophy and vision as to what a sporting goods store could be. A place where we sell what we use. A place where knowledge, information, and experiences can be shared. A place where you are greeted at the door by his best friend and constant companion, Layla. A place where you can go and talk to professional fishermen that are eager to know what your passions are and how we can share in that experience. Thousand Lakes truly is a labor of love.
