On this trip we visited Paint Lake Lodge in the Northern Region of Manitoba. Located in Paint Lake Provincial Park, this 5 mile wide and 25 mile long lake is a classic Canadian Shield paradise complete with endless islands, bays, reefs, and narrows that would pique the interest of any walleye angler.
We hooked into hundreds of walleye over two days of easy fishing. It didn’t matter if we fished just in front of the lodge or way out to the farthest remote reaches of the lake, there were plenty of walleyes ready and willing to smack our lures.
